Great Speckled Bird
I am playing this song on a Johnson acoustic resonator/Dobro, however I installed a Lace Sensor stick on pickup for this song. The guitar is tuned to open "E" Lo to Hi E, B, E, G#, B, E. I know everyone knows there are other songs that share this same melody such as "Honky Tonk Angel," "Wild Side of Life" and "I'm Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes." The backing track is BIAB using style C_EAGLE2 at 105 BPM. I first recorded this song back in June using a FLIP video camera but converted it today to an mp3 file using a Tascam DR-08 recorder. I hope everyone listens and enjoys..

The One Rose
The song is in the key of "D" and I'm playing it on my Alkire 10 string lap steel using the Eharp tuning Lo to Hi C#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, B, C#, E. The arrangement and backing track came from Doug Beaumier's book of 25 songs for lap steel for C6 tuning that I purchased from him several months ago and I transposed this song to suit the Eharp tuning. I first recorded this song back in February of this year using a FLIP video camera but converted it today to an mp3 file using a Tascam DR-08 recorder. I hope everyone listens and enjoys.

Silver Threads
Among the Gold

The song is "Silver Threads Among the Gold" and I am playing it on a very inexpensive acoustic Rogue resonator/Dobro tuned to open "G" Lo to Hi G, B, D, G, B, D. The backing track is BIAB using style C_HAG at 110 BPM. I read somewhere that this is an old Irish Ballad maybe someone else can confirm that. I originally recorded the song on 7/26/11 using a FLIP video camera but converted it to an mp3 file on 7/30/11 using a Tascam DR-08 recorder. I hope everyone will listen and enjoy and don't be to rough on this 69 year old rookie.
