Very nice stuff Basil, it looks like a fun event. If I made a video like that there would be considerably more of the little apology notes.

Basil,

Very enjoyable.
I was wondering, have you always used 3 finger picks?

That was an unusual room setup for your playing.
All of the people were scattered about the outer edges of the room with the center
of the auditorium open.  Was the center of the room used for dancing?

How many players played in the event?

I am just full of questions.

Aloha,  Smiley

Don Sorry about the lateness of my reply: I've always used 3 finger-picks, no-one ever told me different ! Roll Eyes

The room was a strange set-up more like a "Solarium", and yes they did dance and there were also Hula dancers.

Just 3 steel players, myself, Bernard Glorian and Jan Van Elk (He's hot)

Some more from the show, found in the camera case just yesterday.

Bazil & Pat,

We love your music as usual.  You folks are among our favorites.  Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering how you compare the sound of your Harbour Lights steel guitar to a Richenbacher Fry Pan, ie sustain, tone?

On the video it sounds really good, and they are nice looking guitars.    Cool

Also what kind of pickup are you using?

Thanks for liking us, as for the pick-up*, you'll have to ask Harry Sheppard, see this post Click HERE
Equal, if not more sustain than an A22 with as much full bodied sound, BUT dial-able via the blend pot from VERY FAT to Rapier like thin..

*( I can't get used to the colloquial "pup," pups shit everywhere and these are the other end of the scale, Au, 196.966569 number 79 on the periodic table)
