Who's Eligible for Membership?
One of our goals is to develop a global network of players and lovers of traditional Hawaiian music. Membership is open to all steel guitar players (both amateur and professional) and non-players who support the performance, promotion, and perpetuation of Hawaiian steel guitar music.We have over 600 members worldwide!

How much does it cost?
Annual dues are $30 USD for a single member. In addition, members can purchase an Associate Membership for a spouse or family member for an additional charge of $10. This Associate Member is entitled to discounts at certain HSGA functions (convention hotel rates, for example). The HSGA Membership year is July 1 - June 30. Returning members must renew their memberships each year; renewal is not automatic.

What's included in my membership?
