Our Festival will be held Oct 23-24 in Santa Cruz, CA at the Paradox Hotel. There will be a 5pm Thursday member reception at the hotel & a Friday Night 6pm show at the Pono Hawaiian Grill, 1/4 mile from the hotel. The Saturday evening luau show is also available at an additional cost.

About the event
The Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association 2026 Festival brings its celebrated community of players and enthusiasts to Santa Cruz, California for a fun weekend of music, learning, and connection from October 22–24, 2026.
Hosted at Hotel Paradox, this year’s festival will honor the incredible music of Sol K. Bright, inspiring performances, workshops, and shared moments that celebrate the spirit and legacy of Hawaiian steel guitar.
Set against the charm of Santa Cruz in the fall—when coastal sunshine, crisp ocean air, and a relaxed seaside pace create an inviting backdrop—the festival offers a perfect blend of music, place, and community.
